Just passed L1 in June. Hoo-rah. Trying to put together my study plan for L2- seems most on here recommend going through the material twice? My rough plan is as follows:
November 1 - January 31 (3 months) -Go through all Schweser Notes, do EOC Schweser questions and Q-Bank for each topic.
February 1- April 30 (3 months) -Run back through all Schweser Notes for each topic, supplement CFAI text and EOC questions, as well as QBank.
May 1- June 22 (7 weeks) -Take all CFAI topic tests and mocks. Hammer my weak points (FRA) and keep pounding QBank.
Any thoughts? I figured this would be a better approach to keep the material fresh by going through it twice. I know personally if I complete a topic in December/January, I'll have forgotten half of it by June. Appreciate any advice!
I just passed L2. I found that the Schweser notes were not as readable as the CFA material. Since a lot of the information is new material, I'd recommend reading the CFA material as much as possible, even though it's thousands of pages. It sounds like you are willing to put in the time so that should get you over the top no matter what you are doing. If you do Schweser material, I found that watching the videos and then doing the CFA questions was a really effective way to learn, as well as to get used to answering questions.
